Japan's SoftBank has invited Yepme, India’s biggest online fashion website along with two other Indian startups to travel to Tokyo to continue negotiations that could lead to a round of funding. Online fast fashion brand Yepme launched in 2010, with the aim to replicate the success of UK-based online fashion site Asos. Yepme is the first Indian fashion apparel brand to sell in international markets and with Shahrukh Khan as their current brand ambassador it will reach out to millions of people at home as well as internationally.
Yepme sells apparel, watches, spectacles, footwear and follows the fast-fashion model where the process from design to sale takes less than six weeks, has so far raised about $ 20 million of venture funding.
